Gin Weathers is a licensed real estate agent specializing in helping people buy and sell investment properties as well as homes in Monterey County. Her career in real estate includes development and marketing of high-rise office buildings in Los Angeles for Ahmanson Commercial Development and the Koll Company. She was a consultant to real estate development companies in Southern California for government relations and public art programs.
In Washington, D.C., she was a specialist on building coalitions to support legislative issues for the American Petroleum Institute, and business and family programs for the White House Conference for Children and Youth. Gin's work experience began in her native South Carolina as a teacher and Program Consultant for the South Carolina Department of Education. Her education includes BS and M.Ed degrees in education and postgraduate work in journalism, real estate, and communications.
On the Central Coast of California, Gin has served as Region Director for American Cancer Society; is a former Trustee for the Monterey Museum of Art; served on the TELLUS/DIAGNOS Steering Committee; was consultant to Monterey Commercial Property Owners Association, Monterey Institute of International Studies and American Heart Association. She was also the co-Founder of Centerfor, a business dedicated to providing education and access to resources that help people live a rich life.
